Hakusan mountain river

No pictures for today, sorry.  Didn`t dare take my phone.  There was a waterproof camera there and I will get a copy of these pictures.  The day was fantastic.  Mount Hakusan (meaning white mountain as it has snow on its peak all year) is the third highest mountain in the whole of Japan.  The guide took us down to the river, this river is made from melting snow so was ice cold. We had to walk through it to get to the hot springs.  The hot springs were very nice.  The children had a lot of fun and it was good to see the Boston students and Hakusan students together.

We had a BBQ for lunch and then made thank you cards for the host families.  An excellent way to spend a day.
